Why do I like Chester Barklight enough to make a shrine to him?  It certainly isn't the game-play aspect.  In fact, he's the character I use the least.  He has no tech skills and he's MIA for a large chunk of the game, which means his levels and stats are way below everyone else's.

Okay, first off, there's the cosmetics of it all.  He's definitely the best-looking (strictly IMO).  Sure, Cless looks cool with his cape and sword, but Chester looks even cooler with his long, blue, perfect hair.  Funnily enough, while his illustrated form is like a serious bishonen, his game form has those cute, closed fox-eyes (like Chichiri from Fushigi Yuugi).  So he's got the best look in both forms!

His personality is the most distinctive in the game.  Cless is a great friend, but not much of a joker.  Mint is kind, but a little boring.  Klarth is...well, he's nice.  Arche's great, my favorite female character in the game^^

Anyway...what was my point?  Oh yeah.  Chester's personality is the most distinctive cuz he is funny with his jokes (well, not like "haha" funny, but cute), yet there is also shown more depth with his anger and sadness about his sister.  Even Arche...she's funny, but you don't see her serious side much.  Wasn't it just the sweetest thing that Chester was touched when he found out that Cless had kept his bow?^^

Oh yeah, the bow.  I've never touched one, but I've heard it's heavy, and I assume it's also hard to aim, which proves Chester's strong skill--coordinated and strong; what a guy!
